October Board Meeting Highlights

Thank you to the 20 residents and two candidates who attended the October Board Meeting, to recognize the volunteer service of outgoing Treasurer Bill Fisher. Bill has served twice on the Board of Directors and his wife Sharon has led the Social Committee for five plus years. Both are stepping back but not leaving our community. Volunteers are the lifeblood of our neighborhood!

Committee activity was recognized. The recent successful Halloween Carnival, Website updating efforts, pool closing maintenance and the delay of pool furniture ordered in February were shared. The Design Review Committee is planning a Waterwise Landscaping program next year, an underdrain maintenance progress report and the trenching for the new monument sign and inspection were noted. An inventory and organization of all supplies in the clubhouse will be scheduled.

The board voted to apply for an association credit card for Committee expenditures. Board members, Social and Operations Committee Chairman will be able to purchase supplies without using personal funds. Requirements for submitting receipts for review will still be mandatory.

Bids for both pool deck cement and side pool gate repairs were presented. These measures were tabled to allow time to seek additional clarification and bids.

Preparations for the annual meeting were discussed. The annual meeting information will be mailed on Tuesday October 18th. You will also receive email instructions on how to vote before October 24th. Election results will be released in an eblast after 5 PM on Wednesday, November 9th. We encourage you to attend the annual meeting. Remember there will be a drawing for 2 vouchers for free assessments for 2023! Must be present to win!
